Psoriasis is a very common skin condition that usually affects the whole life cycle of the skin cells. The steroid based creams block the growth of skin cells and moderate the swelling too. Calcipotriene is a famous topical ointment which is being used as the most useful medicine for psoriasis.

Phototherapy

In this technique, the skin is exposed to certain types of ultraviolet light.

Oral and injected medication

This is called a prescribed treatment in which dermatologists suggest medicine that reduces the production of the skin cells. It includes biological treatments that aim to treat the specific parts of the immune system.
